TrabzonNow ("the app") helps you discover places, photos, reviews and local news around Trabzon. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.

Information we collect

Anonymous device identifier — a random ID generated on your device, used to associate your own submissions and likes with your device. It is not linked to your real identity.
Approximate location — only when you choose to use nearby search or submit a place/photo. Coordinates are used to sort results by distance and to label the neighborhood of submitted content.
Push notification token — if you enable notifications, so we can send relevant updates. You can disable this in your device settings.
Content you submit — photos, captions, reviews, ratings and comments you choose to post. An optional display name may be included with comments; you are not required to provide your real name.

What we do NOT collect

We do not require an account, email, phone number, or password. We do not collect contacts, browsing history, or advertising identifiers, and we do not sell your data.

How content is used

Submitted photos and places are reviewed before appearing publicly. Approved content is visible to other users of the app. Your own pending submissions are visible to you until they are approved or rejected.

Data storage

Data is stored on our server and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We retain content for as long as it remains relevant to the service.

Your choices

Disable location or notifications anytime in your device settings.
Request removal of content you submitted by contacting us below.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
